TMC History
Trinity Methodist Church came into being on 19 August, 1984., when it held its first worship service at its present premises, 57 Ellis Road, Kuching. The Church was formed by the English Congregation of the Chin-Fu Methodist Church at 20, Pisang Road, Kuching.
Since its humble beginning, TMC has continued to undertake the new and unknown to expand the Church in terms of the congregation and its physical structure, always seeking to glorify God, reaching out and changing lifes.
From being a "planted church" from Chin-Fu Methodist Church, TMC have in turn planted the Matang Methodist Preaching Point in 1988, the Faith Methodist Church in 1995 and the Siniawan Methodist Preaching Point in 1999. The Church sanctuary and the Parish Hall have also been progressively extended to accommodate more worshippers. The latest development was, a new sanctuary with many classrooms for Sunday School and Christian education purposes, was added behind the old sanctuary.
Over the past years, God has blessed TMC abundantly to enable the Church to grow from strength to strength, building on the foundation of faith, wisdom, commitment and vision of our predecessors.
