Small Group
Vision: All members are nurtured and supported in growth in a caring small group setting toward maturity in Christ
Mission: Being and Making Disciples of Christ
The small group is a means of grace given by God to us for developing faith and holiness.
We become fully the persons God created us to be only within the relationships made possible in our community. Our relationship with God is shaped by our relationships with others whom God loves. Our love for God grows and matures through relationships with other Christians.
When we meet in small groups to pray, study Scripture, for accountability and fellowship, and to serve the poor they form relationships of love and trust. As we grow in love and trust with one another, we grow in holiness of heart and life. We will then become disciples who make disciples. Such relationships are not likely to happen in large public settings like Sunday morning worship. This is why small groups are essential to the church’s mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of nations.
24And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrew 10: 24-25).
Information Technology and Multimedia (ITM)
The ITM (Information Technology and Media) Ministry in Trinity Methodist Church (TMC) provides information and technical related services to the entire church.
- Ensures all hardware and software in TMC are constantly maintained and fully functional
- Provide Audio and Video support to enhance the worship experience
- Participate actively in all ministries and programmes of the church by giving IT-related support and solution
- Create, promote and maintain the TMC's website by disseminating information to both new visitors and members of the church
1 Corinthians 12:4-7 says: There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and everyone, it is the same God at work. 7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.

Christian Education
The Christian Education ministry aims to provide lifelong learning & growth toward mature & vital faith.
By providing courses, seminars and conferences, we hope to make everyone in TMC– Disciples of Jesus instead of just believers of Christ.
Every year, we organise the following courses:
- Disciple courses – Red, Green Purple & Gold.
- Theological Education by Extension (TEE) by Seremban Theological Seminary (STM)
We also encourage brothers and sisters to join seminars/conference that is organised either by an annual conference or other Christian organisation.
Do join us in future if there is any course/seminar or conference that the church has arranged. Together we grow spiritually so that we could be more like Christ.
Worship and Music
At Worship and Music Ministry, we not only aim to enable all church comers to worship God in songs and music, but also to enhance their worship experience in all other ways.
Congregations are led in singing by the Praise & Worship team on Sundays and other occasions, in traditional and contemporary music.
While the Choirs have weekly presentations at the Chinese service, it is a monthly event at the English service, usually on the first Sunday of the month, which is also the Holy Communion Sunday for the whole church.
The pastors and the leaders are assisted by the Holy Communion Team in giving the bread and the cup as the whole church remembers the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Usually, behind the scenes, the Floral Decoration Team put up beautifully designed flowers at the altar, while the Ushers and the Traffic Controllers ensure that people are made to feel at home as they come to worship the Lord.
Objective: To strengthen our worship experiences so that people will glorify God
TMC Worship & Music Ministry consists of:
- Praise & Worship (Singspiration)
- Choir
- Liturgy
- Ushering
- Holy Communion Preparation
Social Concern
Vision: To be a church that is relevant within our community through relationship building, acting justly and loving mercy and loving our neighbour as ourselves.
Mission: To demonstrate our Lord Jesus’ teachings through involvement in our community, assisting those who need a helping hand spiritually, emotionally and physically.
Trinity Care
Elder Care: The Target Group is the Elderly members of our community who are well enough not to be in the hospital but not well enough to be left alone at home.
Neighbour Care: This initiative aims to provide care to our neighbourhood.
Trinity Learning Care: The main objective is to evangelize to students and their family members while the sub-objectives are to elevate the financial status of the marginalized through education and an avenue for our congregation to demonstrate God’s love through participating in the ministry. The Target Group is the children of our BM congregation and all those within our community, and our BM adults who want to learn English.
Public Health Forum/Screening: The Target Group is our neighbours around Ban Hock and Kenyalang areas.
Hospital Care:- The Target Group is the hospitalised patients who just need someone to talk to or cheer them up.
Trinity Hope:- The Target Group is the patients from all segments of society regardless of race or religion, referred by church members, relatives and friends.
Community Support
We aim to help those within our community, who are for one reason or another not able to keep up with the pace of development, fallen on hard times, are marginalized, and are crippled financially due to chronic illnesses or any other reasons.
Bereavement Care
We will lend our support and emotional comfort to our church members in their time of grief through wreaths and attending wake and funeral services.
Membership and Evangelism
M&E has two main components, one being the members' care while the other the evangelism in nature.
In membership, TMC is taking steps to take care of the members. Firstly, we need to know who is who and hence properly register them. A platform to do this is our church directory.
For visitors, welcoming teams called 'the greeters' are allocated to welcome the visitors and bring them refreshments after the church service to get to know them.
While the visitors are being led to the visitors’ café, there are café teams also assigned to serve visitors hot beverages and snacks. All these efforts are just to make sure visitors are being taken care of.
In evangelism, TMC is using the Alpha Course to encourage members to bring their unbelieving friends to attend the course.
It is a practical introduction to the Christian faith and is open to anyone. It runs as a series of weekly gatherings which each involves a friendly meal, a talk and a small group discussion. There are fifteen talks; covering the basic principles of the Christian faith, and a weekend or day away.
As healthy families are keys to a strong church and society, the marriage course helps couples grow closer and build healthy relationship that lasts a lifetime. Over 7 sessions, the couples learn practical tools to help them invest time in their marriage.

we request that all bookings be done at least one week in advance. Please also state the equipment (if any) needed.
Some of the equipment, especially musical equipment and cables need time to be readied.
