I was invited to attend the disciple class through the Trinity Youth Fellowship. When i heard the announcement by the president, i am interested of the content but tends to not dare to step out and ask for more information. Just before the start of the course, i was confronted by one of my friend who had attended the course previously. He shared with me his gain through the course and opted me to try and gve a chance to the course as i may learn a lot of thing about GOD and bible knowledge. Finally, i managed to join the class and was chose as a class monitor for the year.
At the beginning of the course, i found out that it is difficult to cope up with others because the insufficient bible knowledge and language barrier. I had to read the bilingual bible while doing the homework which took a lot of my time. I also find it difficult to devote everyday as according to the plan set in the workbook. During some of my busy weeks, i cannot even catch up with single day of the homework and ended up to do 7-days homework one go before attending the class. This is frustrating.
Slowly, i learnt how to allocate my time for this devotional course. I asked my friends how they cope with the bible knowledge and questions that appeared during the devotion. Sometimes, i will try to raise the problem i met during the devotional and ask for opinion of my classmates during the class. Our teachers will always give the best answer available and suit my understanding.
Throughout the whole course of Red Disciple, i had learnt a lot through all the classmates. I learned how each of them live as a life of a Christian. Few of my classmates also helped me when i met some problems which i could not understand during the class. Overall, i would like to thanks all my classmates and teachers whom had lead me in understanding more about the GOD. Although i could not apply all of them in my life, but i will keep finding a chance to use this knowledge and let more people know HIM and the Good News of GOD anywhere.
